Sunset over Frank Island viewed from Chesterman Beach. You can actually walk out to Frank Island when the tide is all the way out. A great place to watch the wild Pacific crash onto the rocks. I'll be posting lots of Tofino pix over the next few days.

Felt a surge of emotion as you expressed hearing the waves crashing. I must experience this with my new CI (cochlear implant)! I must make arrangements for a getaway asap! Also, Tofino reminds me of the Oregon Coast, where I spent much of my childhood. Reading your narrative gives me a great longing to return to the environment. Bless you for bringing it up and giving me something to look forward to on this dreary day!
